Hollow Log Didgeridoos HQ moved to Yirrkala
We have just passed a milestone! We would like to inform all our existing and future customers, that our HQ has been relocated from Darwin to Yirrkala. From now on our Australian stock is available from this location with worldwide shipping.
Yirrkala is a small Indigenous community in Northeast Arnhem Land, on Yolŋu land, not far from Gove airport and Nhulunbuy township. Due to its location and rich cultural backgorund the community is a hot spot for didgeridoo players for the last few decades. Yirrkala is also home for the renowned Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre, who has a long history in promoting different forms of Yolŋu art. Their team did lay the groundwork for non-Indigenous players to learn about the traditional didgerioo, and made the yiḏaki available for didgeridoo enthusiasts worldwide.
We would like to say thank you: ARDS Aboriginal Corporation, Charles Darwin University, Gurruwiwi family, Buku and Jeremy Cloake, and all our friends and supporters around the world. To follow our journey keep your eyes on our website, Facebook Page and Instagram accounts.
