Unfortunately I do not have any information about this instrument in regards to the maker or area of origin – except I found this little treasure in Buku, the Yirrkala art centre a few months ago with no reference on the artwork tag. The reason why I picked it up is its warm sound, nice acoustics and great playing characteristics. I recommend this treasure for anyone, who wish to purchase a great yiḏaki on a great price. A good catch!
