Djalu’ Gurruwiwi yiḏaki C#/D# (HLY-348) SOLD

This instrument is a good catch for someone who is looking for a low-pitched, big resonator trumpet; I did immediately fall in love with this amazing instrument when I recently going through the stock in the Yirrkala art centre, its sound has a warmth and unique characteristic. The backpressure is quite low, and despite its wide open chambers and length, this instrument is surprisingly easy to play and quite responsive.  I recommend for both contemporary and traditional players, however it will most likely find home with someone who is looking for a meditative instrument for their own pleasures.
