Djalu’ Gurruwiwi yiḏaki C/E (HLY-343) SOLD

A great slow-player instrument from Djalu’s backyard. The warm and resonant drone is easy to play and rich in overtones; the transition to the toot is easy, the backpressure is low and slows the player down – that complements the low key, so you can get lost in the amazing acoustics (I hope it comes through in the sound sample). The mouthpiece is somewhat wide, I had to put on some wax to be able to play this stick properly. A great catch for those, who are looking for a meditative instrument from Djalu’.
