Djalu’ Gurruwiwi yidaki (HLY-220) SOLD

Out of stock

Even though this instrument looks somewhat simple, please do not be confused: this is an excellent, powerful yiḏaki with superb playing qualities! The drone is rich in overtones and bass – especially after a few minutes warm up -, the transition to the toot is easy and sounds spot-on. The walls of the instrument left quite thick, therefore the sound is focused and direct. A great catch from Master Djalu!
