An ex-ceremonial yiḏaki for collectors and traditional didgeridoo fans, wrapped with electrical tape that is a common practice amongst Yolŋu nowadays to protect heavily used instruments. The tape provides an easy-to-fix and replace solution for cracks and over-usage.
This instrument is a lightweight stick with thin walls. The sound is warn, resonant, the instrument has medium backpressure and responsive to tongue movements. The internal chamber is spacious and clear. A perfect, fun-to-play yiḏaki.
